Beach Love Mural

Prairie Athletic Club came to me wanting something that would delight the children in their care — and I knew right away it had to be the beach. Dolphins, sea turtles, starfish, and cheerful ocean animals stretch across the wall, giving kids a sense of wonder and play every time they walk in.

The mural wraps the full length of the child care room, designed to be engaging at eye level for toddlers and young children. Every creature has a personality — curious eyes, friendly smiles, and a sense of motion like they're swimming right alongside you.

It was one of those projects where you step back at the end and just feel happy. The staff told me kids started running toward the wall the first day it was finished. That's exactly what I hope for.
