CrossFit Foremost Mural

Murals in workout spaces are special to me — they create a certain feel for a place, something uplifting that you carry into every session. For CrossFit Foremost, I designed a grand machinery of interlocking gears, each one larger than the last, stretching high across the wall. The final gear forms the word 'Foremost.'

A central massive gear bears the word 'Faith' — the driving force behind all that is great and powerful. Interlocked with it are smaller gears representing Humility and Fortitude. Together they spell out what this gym stands for. The design is about the idea that success isn't one thing — it's a system, and every part has to turn.

My son helped with the project: drawing gears, filling in areas, and using a laser cutter to create tiny nuts and bolts embedded in the wall for a three-dimensional effect. Thank you to James and Katie Eisele for bringing me in to be part of this.
